Begin Giving offers the opportunity to volunteer with the Friends of the Children of Haiti WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) Program in the Sud-Est Department of Haiti.

Description: Join us at the clinic for one week to provide educational training to the Haiti community through our FOTCOH WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Program. The FOTCOH WASH Program will include sanitary hand washing training, safe and hygienic bathroom practices, and safe and effective means for sterilizing and storing drinking water.

Open to: Anyone 18 years old and over interested in volunteering in Haiti.
Ages 16 – 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Trip Cost and Fees: $800 per person for one week
Airfare: Purchased on your own with instructions from team leader (after your application is accepted)
Visa Requirements: None. Valid passport for at least 6 months is required upon arrival in the country along with a $10 tourist fee.
